Being a techno-saavy earlybird could have a big pay off for coffee lovers attending the 6:30 a.m. Nov. 9 grand opening of Saxbys Coffee at Lehigh University.

The coffee cafe, at 3 W. Morton St., Bethlehem, will reward the first 10 customers in line who are using the new Saxbys App, with free coffee for a year. The next 10 geeks toting the app will get free coffee for a month. Ten more will get free coffee for a week.

Restaurant News: Saxbys Coffee sets grand opening, freebies

There's a new Bethlehem spot in the works to fuel your caffeine fix.

Philadelphia, Pa.-based Saxbys Coffee is ready to open its doors. The chain takes the former spot of Dave's Deli at 3 W. Morton St. in Bethlehem.

The grand opening is set for Nov. 9, according to Saxbys' Facebook page.

The chain is offering a number of freebies for Saxbys app users for opening day. The first 10 customers in line could win free coffee for a year. The next 10 could be eligible for free coffee for a month, the following 10 customers could win free coffee for a week. Find more information here.

Saxbys featured in Courier-Post

Saxbys was recently featured in an article in the Courier-Post titled, "New Haddonfield coffee shop gives away free coffee for a year." The video story includes footage of customers waiting in line outside of the Saxbys Coffee for the chance to be one of the first 10 granted free coffee for a year. Courier-Post reporter Michael Youngkin got a funny comment from the guy who was the 11th customer in line, but was still in great spirits.
